Been gone but yes I’m back XD

Hey, I did not post for a long time. I just wasn’t dressing up much and also not wearing makeup. I didn’t feel like it. Still I often wanted to post but I felt like it wouldn’t be “gyaru” enough if it’s basic which is dumb I know cuz that shouldn’t be the point. I feel pressured to have everything gal related on this blog but why? I probably care too much about what others think. But I don’t wanna continue that way. If I don’t feel like wearing certain things at some point I just shouldn’t.

I think my is head caught in this mindset if you don’t do this and this it’s not gyaru. I think it’s best when I stop using gyaru as a term and just start being myself. That doesn’t mean that I stopped liking gyaru. I just want to be more open and more myself. I think from now on I will refer more to umbrella terms when I talk about what style I am wearing. I’m definitely getting my inspo from japanese mags mostly but I don’t wanna limit myself to only be able stay in that specific style.

So yeah this is kind of a new start but also not a huge one XD

Here‘s an outfit I put together and really like

Cardigan … Melrose
Inner … Vero Moda
Shorts … Clockhouse
Tights … dedoles
Bag & acce … thrifted

I’m obsessed with tights this fall but alot of mine ripped. I really need to get more!
Also, I got some new magazines. I really wanted some early 2000s ones so I got this Popteen 2002 and Egg 2001. And then Ranzuki 2009 cuz it’s one of my fav years

And omg I also bought co&lu jeans which are perrrfect ♡ I’ll put together an outfit first and then post it next time.

See you soon!

  1. Ooh love that egg magazine I have it too. I love 1998-2001 right now. I relate a lot to what you said at the beginning!! I write about that a lot. I think the internet gives us too much pressure to fit into a certain mold and only ever be one thing. I felt exactly like this a few months ago and since I deleted a lot of my apps and got out of that headspace and fully focused on what I actually like instead of “what looks like this specific thing” I feel a lot happier :) I think you will too!! I think it shows through our outfits and they look better when we are just ourselves.

    1. Thank you so much! It’s good to hear that others feel the same way :)

  2. Not feeling gyaru enough is a well-known disease that comes with the fashion. Even jp gals have that feeling.
